Chancellor Bruce Baron said, “We are very proud of this first group of committed learners who have completed our rigorous training. These trailblazers have gained the skills needed to succeed in their new business ventures. This institute offers participants the opportunity, for an extraordinarily low cost, to learn from and be mentored by experts. Through the Entrepreneurship Institute, the San Bernardino Community College District is helping develop new jobs and businesses for our community.”
Isaac noted, “The Entrepreneurship Institute is designed to provide the aspiring entrepreneur with the nuts and bolts of business ownership, business creation and business operation, using real world terms and examples. Entrepreneurs are major drivers of economic growth in the United States. The Small Business Administration recently noted that about 90 percent of new businesses fail. To be a successful business owner, an entrepreneur needs training, mentoring and guidance. The Entrepreneurship Institute provides that.”
