Dignity Health - Community Hospital of San Bernardino (CHSB) proudly celebrates the contributions and achievements of Black healthcare leaders in the Inland Empire. We recognize the vital role these individuals play in ensuring equitable access to quality care and fostering a more inclusive healthcare environment.

This year, we are honored to spotlight CHSB’s Roz Nolan, Chief Nursing Executive Officer. Nolan has been instrumental in leading clinical nursing initiatives to improve patient outcomes for mothers and babies. These advancements in patient safety earned CHSB its Advanced Certification in Perinatal Care from The Joint Commission.

“Juneteenth is a time for reflection and recommitment. We must continue to break down barriers and create opportunities for Black healthcare professionals to thrive,” said June Collison, Hospital President. “By ensuring diverse leadership, we can better address the unique health needs of our community and build a healthier future for all."

Nolan’s leadership exemplifies the dedication and excellence that are essential to advancing healthcare for all. We are committed to supporting and celebrating Black professionals in healthcare, ensuring their voices are heard and their contributions are valued. CHSB wishes everyone a reflective and celebratory Juneteenth.
