More than 2 million people live in Riverside County. A region that stretches from Los Angeles to the Arizona border, with everything from rivers and deserts to mountain peaks and fertile valleys, both the population and the economy of Riverside County have been on a consistent rise. Growing communities within Riverside County, such as Temecula and Murrieta, account for a significant portion of the increase in population. To meet the growing needs of this expanding population, RadNet recently opened the region’s only dedicated women’s centers. Breastlink Women’s Imaging Center Temecula and Breastlink Women’s Imaging Riverside offer services such as 2D and 3D digital mammography, ultrasound and bone density scans (DEXA), as well as ultrasound-guided and stereotactic-guided breast biopsies. Increased volume of patients in Temecula lead to the recent opening of the Temecula Parkway location, which offers high-field open MRI, 64-slice CT/CTA and PET/CT, among several other services. Additionally, plans are underway to open a fully dedicated cancer center in Riverside.
Another 2 million people reside in San Bernardino County. Located in the southeastern part of California, it is included with Riverside and Ontario in what is known as The Inland Empire. Spanning an area from south of the San Bernardino Mountains to the Nevada border and the Colorado River, it is the locale of another rapidly growing community, Victorville. With views of snow-topped mountains and located in the Victor Valley of southwestern San Bernardino County, Victorville includes the communities of Apple Valley, Hesperia and Victorville, among others. Victor Valley Imaging has been providing imaging services to the Victorville area for fifteen years, providing everything from MRI and CT exams to nuclear medicine and diagnostic radiology. Victor Valley saw the opening of a dedicated women’s center, offering Tomosynthesis, as well as many other services. This Fall, Victor Valley will open a brand new Interventional Radiology suite.
