District Schools to Operate on a Modified Calendar

All San Bernardino City Unified School District campuses, excluding Middle College High School, will operate on a Modified Traditional Calendar for the 2014–2015 school year. These changes will help families with children at different schools better plan family vacations and make childcare arrangements. Middle College High School will continue to operate on the same calendar as San Bernardino Valley College to allow students to take both high school and college courses during the school day. The majority of students are educated at their home school. A student’s home school is determined by the student’s address. Parents may request their child be transferred to another school by completing a transfer request form. [END] Forms are available at www.sbcusd.com/transfers or in the school office. The deadline to submit a transfer request for the 2014–2015 school year is Friday, March 14, 2014. The March 14, 2014, transfer request deadline does not apply to requests to enroll in Richardson PREP HI or Rodriguez PREP Academy Middle Schools or elementary school Magnet programs.
