SOAR was founded by five former teachers from the San Bernardino City Unified School District.
Kristin Kraus, Trisha Lancaster, Susie Dryden, Tammi Fort and Renee Nunez have over 70 years combined experience in educating children.
On the evening of Oct. 20, from 5 to 8 p.m., the staff of SOAR Charter Academy will put on aprons and take over the McDonald’s located at 240 E 40th Street in San Bernardino.
Students and family members will get the thrill of seeing the principals, teachers, and school staff working behind the counter and hearing their voices come from the drive-thru intercom.
Ronald himself will be on hand with an exciting magic show as well as a face painter.
McTeacher’s Night provides students and parents the opportunity to increase school pride and generate funds for SOAR’s educational programs. McDonald’s is committed to education and not only does McTeacher’s Night help raise funds for education, it gives everyone an opportunity to get to know some of the people in our community, show support for a local school and have fun.
