On September 8, 2018 police repsonded to shots fired on E. Washington Street.
On 8/21/18, at approximately 11:56 p.m., the San Bernardino Police Dispatch Center received several 911 calls regarding shots heard and a shooting victim down at 1025 N. Tippecanoe Ave. Officers arrived within minutes and located the victim down near the front of the apartment complex. The victim had suffered numerous gunshot wounds and was not responsive. Medical aid arrived and the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Detectives believe there are several witnesses to this incident and would like to hear from them. The San Bernardino Police Department’s Homicide Unit is asking for witnesses to this incident to please contact Detective Lewis at (909) 384-5762 or Sergeant Kokesh at (909) 384-5613.
