San Bernardino Superior Court Comes to a Verdict

On June 6 of 2013, a shooting was reported at 4190 N. Sepulveda. San Bernardino Police Department Officers located Eddie Barnes Jr. suffering from gunshot wounds at the complex. He did not survive his injuries. Detectives investigated and developed information that led them to the arrest of Cornelius Woods. A trial was conducted in San Bernardino Superior Court. On May 17, the jury rendered a verdict of guilty for murder with gang and gun enhancements. Sentencing is scheduled for the end of June.
