SBVC Baseball: Former Player Newton Has Died

According to SBVC Head Athletic Trainer Mike Sola, former SBVC and Eisenhower Baseball catcher (1983-1985) Marvin "Marty" Newton died recently of an apparent heart attack. He was drafted by the Dodgers in 1985 and played low-A ball for the club.
