As a tribute to Slaton, the new 44,000 sq. ft. Stater Bros. His contributions to our company were immeasurable and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him,” stated Brown. Brown also told local news agencies that Slaton was a large contributor in the Stater Bros. move from Colton to its Grand Terrace location on Barton Road. The family has requested donations in Slaton’s honor be made to Stater Bros. Charities and a scholarship fund will be set up in his name at California State University, San Bernardino, his alma mater. Please send checks to Stater Bros. Charities, P. O.
