Mark your calendars for the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) Gala to be held on May 8th at the National Orange Show. The Gala Committee was led by Patty Holohan, who has remained determined to bring the event, through her battle with cancer and chemo therapy. The Gala is expecting 200 guests. Sam “Bam” Cunningham, the former University of Southern California fullback who is credited with influencing the University of Alabama’s decision to integrate its football team in 1970, will be the keynote speaker for the night. Silent live auctions will be offered at the event, including one for a dinner for 10 at the Redlands Country Club with Ronnie Lott, who was voted best defense back in the first 75 years of NFL, and a dinner for 10 with Tommy LaSorda, a former Dodger Skipper and Olympic Gold Medal Coach. Another auction for 6 to visit the UCLA 2014 Football Practice at Cal State University San Bernardino will be offered. For a ticket to the ARMC Gala or to reserve a table, call Patty Holohan at (909) 518-4612, or email her at PSHoloha@aol.com.
