"Aquarius" Musical Revue

The 60s brought a decade of revolutionary music and peace signs. After years fighting in combat, iconic rock bands defined the generation. On Nov. 8, San Bernardino’s Worldwide Theatricals brought attendees back to the 60s with a band called Aquarius. The band appeared on stage at 2 p.m., dressed like they stepped out of a time machine. They wore large shirts with loose sleeves and decorative belts, dark shades, and flowers in their hair. The band performed their own versions of iconic hit songs such as “Fortune Son,” “For What it’s Worth,” “Spirit in the Sky,” “War,” and “Peace Train”. The band sang song after song, exciting the audience. After singing in a five man band, a female lead singer appeared and sang her own song. As she was signing “Where Have all the Flowers Gone,” two women appeared and started to give random audience members a bouquet of flowers. Soon the female singers joined with the male band and finished the show together.
