Gunshot Homicide in San Bernardino

On 9/27/17, at approximately 1:37 a.m., the San Bernardino Police Department received calls regarding a subject down near the front of a residence in the 1200 block of W. 27th Street. When officers arrived, they found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he later died. The victim’s vehicle, a maroon Chrysler 200, was later found at 21st and Mt View Avenue. It had been involved in a traffic collision with a tree at the intersection. The occupants of the victim’s vehicle had fled prior to police arrival.

The San Bernardino Police Department’s Homicide Unit is asking for the public’s assistance with this case. Anyone who was in the areas of Davidson Ave. and 27th  Street, or 21st Street and Mt View Ave around 1:30 a.m., and has information about the case, is asked to please contact Detective Thompson at (909) 384-5665 or Sergeant Kokesh at (909) 384-5613.
