Can You Rent a Pool Table???

YES! San Bernardino’s Games For Fun has expanded its services in 2014, now offering rental opportunities to its customers. Operating in San Bernardino since 1984, the longtime game room product business introduced its new rental department on the heels of its new line of air hockey, shuffleboard, foosball and ping pong tables, along with a newly designed pool table, presented in late 2013. For personal or business events, Games for Fun now offers rentals on these games and tables with a significant decrease in purchase price after the game has been rented three times or more, allowing consumers to choose between purchasing games and tables brand new or used. With a 30-year history in the area, Games for Fun has adapted with the times to continue providing the types of services demanded by its customers. Founded by Kenny Renfroe in 1984, the business at first sold used and reconditioned pool tables in an 800-square-foot showroom—14 feet wide and 60 feet long—and was known then as “Billboard Surplus.” Renfroe, who had seven years of previous experience in billiard retail sales and management, opened his new store a mere 200 feet from Brunswick Leisure Mart, an authorized Brunswick dealer where Renfroe was employed for nearly a decade prior to opening his own billiard business. In under two years, Renfroe’s budding business grew and the showroom space expanded to 2,500-square-feet and included several new game room products, including pinball, air hockey, foosball and shuffleboard games. After Games for Fun’s next-door competitor shut its doors, Games for Fun became the new Brunswick billiard dealer, expanding business even further. By 1989, Games for Fun was now also manufacturing its own pool tables and was located in a new 13,000-square-foot location at 895 Rialto Avenue in San Bernardino, where the business is still located today. Games for Fun’s new rental opportunities are a testament to how the company continues to grow to meet consumer demand, and how it continues to offer quality game products to area residents for affordable prices, whether rented or purchased. To book a rental or for further information, contact Games for Fun by phone Monday through Saturday at 909-885-3604, by email at sales@gamesforfun.com, or online at www.gamesforfun.com.
