Stater Bros. Charities recently provided over $100,000 in funding for the purchase of four 12-passenger transport vans for the VA Medical Center in Loma Linda. In addition to purchasing the vans, Stater Bros. Charities is also arranging for complete vehicle wraps with decorative signage for each of these vans. These transport vans are used up to 16 hours a day to transport veterans in outlying areas to doctor’s appointments, to deliver much needed medical equipment to veterans’ homes, and to help veterans with errands such as grocery shopping. Since 2008, Stater Bros. Charities has donated a total of seven transport vans to the VA Medical Center in Loma Linda.
