CFWC/San Bernardino District Annual Convention

The 58th Annual Convention for the San Bernardino District Federation of Women’s Clubs was held April 28 and 29, 2014. The 2-day convention was attended by Women’s Club members from throughout San Bernardino County and highlighted the many accomplishments of the clubs throughout this past year. In addition, speakers from the CFWC were in attendance and presented workshops in various areas to assist local clubs. Officers for the 2014-2016 term were elected and President-elect Stephanie Stark was installed at the convention. Stark is a member of The Contemporary Club in Redlands and has been serving as the District’s 1st Vice President for the past 2 years. The following District Officers were also installed: Debbie Earle (Grand Terrace) – 1st Vice President Wendy Curran (Grand Terrace) – 2nd Vice President Lynne Youngstrom (Rancho Cucamonga) - 3rd Vice President Janet Tinkham (Upland) – Recording Secretary Judy Dishaw (Colton) – Corresponding Secretary Robbie Kennedy (Hi Desert Jrs.) – Treasurer Wendy Jarvis (Upland) – Financial Secretary Cecile Collar (Upland) – Auditor Virginia Mayer-Oakes (Rialto) – Parliamentarian
