Community college students interested in attending Cal State San Bernardino are invited to attend the university’s annual Transfer Day on Saturday, February 22. Aimed at providing information and assistance to community college students interested in transferring to CSUSB, the free event will allow community college and university transfer students to learn more about financial aid, housing, EOP, student services and clubs and organizations. “It’s crucial for students interested in transferring to Cal State San Bernardino to know about the latest admission requirements and deadlines,” said Lucia Zarate, an admissions counselor at Cal State San Bernardino. “Transfer Day was created to give students the opportunity to visit CSUSB to make sure it is the right fit for them. We will showcase what we have to offer to further their education and gain valuable life experiences.” Faculty members representing most academic programs will be available to meet with attendees to discuss their potential majors or fields of study. Campus tours will also be offered. Transfer Day will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the university’s Santos Manuel Student Union. Complimentary parking will be available in Lot D. Those planning to attend should RSVP by February 17 to asrevents@csusb.edu or call (909) 537-5192.
