The San Bernardino County Library invites you to join us at the Lewis Library & Technology Center in Fontana for a New Book Festival where we will unveil thousands of new books! Come celebrate literacy by traveling through themed lands throughout the library, meet Princesses Ana, Tiana, Cinderella and Snow White, go on a safari, rhyme with the Cat in the Hat, build with Jumbo Blocks, meet the characters from the LEGO movie, attend Super Hero Training, take a picture by the Batmobile, make fun crafts, live DJ and much more. This event is another opportunity to celebrate and support the Countywide Vision’s literacy campaign, Vision2Read. The New Book Festival will take place on Saturday, April 2 from 3 to 7 p.m. The first 500 people to arrive at the event will receive a free bag. Bring your library card and be the first to check out thousands of new items and you could be entered into several opportunity drawings that will take place throughout the event. Don’t forget to come dressed as your favorite character. All activities are free and open to all ages. The Fontana Branch Library is located at 8437 Sierra Avenue. The San Bernardino County Library System is a dynamic network of 32 branch libraries that serves a diverse population over a vast geographic area. The County library system strives to provide equal access to information, technology, programs, and services for all people who call San Bernardino County home. The library plays a key role in the achievement of the Countywide Vision by contributing to educational, cultural, and historical development of our County community.
