SAN BERNARDINO>> On Nov. 28, 2004, High Point Ministry was formed to "send the Word of God to the world and help people along the way.” Patricia Sachs, Executive Director of High Point Ministry, said God supplied the funds by providing more than 45 "Never on the Planet" ideas and inventions. As an unincorporated, organized and self-supported Christian church ministry, it has operated without a headquarters to date. In 2011, a building was selected and contact was made through the realtor to the owner. Sachs said an offer was made to the owner to donate the building to the ministry and receive 10 percent of the monthly profits for life but Sachs said the owner did not respond. Angel Investors did not respond and lenders were not interested without knowing where the money was coming from. Sachs said the designated building, a prominent building in San Bernardino, would house the headquarter upstairs and “Divine Inspirtaion, ” a Christian dinner-dance supper club downstairs where followers of Jesus Christ can worship with dance and song, according to the Scriptures. “We have great music, great artists and the greatest message,” Sachs said. “The owner knew of this but chose not respond.” Now, Sachs said two other buildings have been found. One is for the “Masters Touch,” a Christian Cruzin' Club for San Bernardino and a manufacturing building right in the heart of San Bernardino to manufacture the 45 “uniquely our own” products. Money received from the ventures will fulfill High Point's Ministry mandate to "send the Word of God to the World and help people along the way" by providing jobs for men and women in San Bernardino. High Point Ministry is tax exempt and able to open bank accounts as a Self-Supported Ministry. The law states that anyone may donate up to 50 percent of their taxable income to a recognized church ministry of their choice. The church ministry may provide a receipt stating that it is a religious entity and provide its EIN number. Property may be exempt if it can be proved that the property is used exclusively for religious purposes. The SSM may accept donations of all kinds of assets: real property, land, vehicles, boats, planes, furniture and money. "An SSM may also receive donations from wills, trusts, life insurance or any other deferred gift,” Sachs said. Sachs said an account is established for contributions and said all donations will be used for the purchase of the above mentioned properties. She said any left over money will be used in equipping and establishing the buildings and paying compensations to any workers. Sachs said all donors will receive a donors receipt stating High Point Ministry is a religious entity and will provide with the EIN number for their tax purposes. Sachs said if God has moved your heart to give any donations, please mail donations to High Point Ministry P.O. Box 1414 San Bernardino, CA 92402.
