Wyatt’s Paint and Body Focuses on Customer Service

Serving the Inland Empire and providing outstanding customer service to area residents has always been a huge goal for Wyatt’s Paint and Body. Having recently opened up a second shop—11.5 miles from the shop’s original location in San Bernardino—it seems as if Wyatt’s has solidified their reputation for putting their customers first. First opened in August 1975 by Randy and Debbie Wyatt, the family-owned and -operated automobile shop was taken over by current owner Kris Wyatt, and this year expanded into Redlands. “I saw a great business opportunity in Redlands and jumped on it,” Kris said. “I plan on building the same relationships [with our customers] here in Redlands as in San Bernardino.” While Wyatt’s specializes in auto collision repair, the shop’s services don’t end there. They have also done restoration work, customization, paint and in-house repair and more. The shop has worked on private automobiles, City- and County-owned vehicles, and even boats, motorcycles, motor homes and ATVs to boot. Living by the motto, “If we can’t fix it, no one can!” the shop, which is Honda American Certified and sees all makes, models and insurance companies, aims to combine excellent vehicle service and outstanding customer service. “Taking care of a customer is No. 1,” said San Bernardino assistant manager Shelby Wyatt. “When a vehicle enters our shop, we take it to the fullest to make sure the customer is happy.” Sometimes, that happiness translates into overjoyed tears. “When [a] person is crying tears of joy when you hand them the keys, that’s something you can’t get anywhere else,” said Shelby. The shop’s focus is on treating everyone like family—and that means employees, too. Starting on the first of this month, new insurance accounts began at the Redlands area shop, which Redlands shop manager Chris Sawyer said he hopes will help direct more clients to the business. “We just want everyone to know we’re here, and we’re excited to see what our future holds,” said Sawyer. The shops are located at 350 N. Rancho Avenue in San Bernardino and at 1120 W. Redlands Blvd. in Redlands.
