Readers Earn Rewards at Library

SAN BERNARDINO>>The San Bernardino County Library presents its first Holiday Countdown with a cascade of rewards. From Nov. 1 through Dec. 29, participant can earn an incentive reward for every 30 items checked out. A new reward will be released every two weeks, from colorful drink tumblers to Star Wars key chains. To add to the excitement, there are multiple varieties to earn within each release. Participants can collect all four drink tumbler colors and match the Yoda key chain with a companion Darth Vader key chain and each reward will be available for a limited time only. This event is another opportunity to celebrate and support the Countywide Vision’s literacy campaign, Vision2Read. Those who are interested can check out 30 items and start earning rewards. There is no limit on how many rewards can be collected but supplies are limited. From Nov. 1 – 15 if you collect a reward you can receive, Pez Candy Dispenser, with characters from Frozen, Disney Pixar, Hello Kitty, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Then enjoy the colorful library Tumblers from Nov. 16-30. During the weeks of Dec. 1 – 15, participants can collect Star Wars key chains, starring Yoda and Darth Vader and on Dec. 16 – 29, participants can enjoy Superhero Brick Characters, featuring Iron Man, Spider-Man, Captain America and more. The San Bernardino County Library System is a network of 32 branch libraries that serves a diverse population over a vast geographic area. The county library system strives to provide equal access to information, technology, programs and services for all people who call San Bernardino County home. The library plays a key role in the achievement of the Countywide Vision by contributing to educational, cultural, and historical development of the county community.
