Police Department Hosts Community Police Academy

Due to a high amount of interest, the San Bernardino Police Department is again hosting a Community Police Academy for residents within the City of San Bernardino. The academy is scheduled to meet, 6 to 8 p.m., each Wednesday continuing through March 26. Classes will be held at the San Bernardino Police Department Main Station located at 710 N. D Street, San Bernardino.
The Academy classes will encompass a variety of topics including narcotics enforcement, criminal investigations, the police canine program, panhandling, gang enforcement, SWAT, and traffic enforcement. Attendees will learn how the police department functions and how the community can partner with law enforcement to enhance over all public safety. The academy is free to all attendees. However, seating is limited, so please call to reserve your spot in this educational/informative experience.
