Margaret was born to a Danish family; the fourth of five girls of Knute and Margaret Jacobson. She attended local school and began working at a very early age at the 'Mile High Ice Cream Parlor.' Other ventures included co-ownership of Stardust Roller Rink (with Gordon) and then sole ownership of The Brass Key Restaurant. Margaret enjoyed time at their homes in Newport Beach and Palm Springs. She traveled with Ray to many meeting with organizations, including California Sign Association, National Sign Association, and World Sign Association. They also enjoyed traveling throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, Europe and Asia. Margaret and Ray were lifetime members of Arrowhead Country Club and The Elks Lodge. She is survived by Ray, her husband of 67 years. Also surviving her are her sons Larry (Tammy), Jerry (Mary) and Gary (Joanne) and her sister Juanita, along with her grandchildren, Ashley, Michael, Kristina, Kimberly and Erik and her seven great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Sunday, August 16, 2015 at 5 to 7 p.m. with a funeral service on Monday, August 17, 2015 at 10 a.m., both at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Ave, San Bernardino, CA, 92404. A graveside service will follow at Montecito Memorial Park, 3520 E Washington St., Colton, CA.
