Rancho Cucamonga-based children’s clothing company, Bling Baby Gear, hosted the second annual Red Shoe Shindig on Saturday, Oct. 3 to raise funds to support the Loma Linda Ronald McDonald House. Guests arrived to a red carpet entrance with members of the Great All American Youth Circus welcoming them with amazing performances. Guests enjoyed fine wine, live entertainment and the opportunity to bid on exclusive auction items, while taking in the rich history of a Redlands historical landmark, The Burrage Mansion. Music carried throughout the property with live performances by The Candlelight Guitarist (Bradley Powell), Curtis Brooks, Tracy Carter, Noor Che’ree, Vivian Love Cureton and more. After a delicious dinner featuring entrees from area restaurants and chefs, a heartwarming family testimony from The Parsons Family reminded everyone what the night was all about.

A residence shows visible damage from flooding, mud and debris following severe winter storms that began Dec. 23, which brought heavy rain and debris flows to mountain and high desert communities across San Bernardino County. This week, the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors approved recovery-related fee waivers to help eligible property owners repair and rebuild as response and long-term recovery efforts continue.

Photo Caption: Crime in San Bernardino has dropped by 30 percent or more throughout the city. One reason is that there are more officers on the streets. The Police Department’s goal is to have 350 sworn officers. Current full-time staffing is reported at 295 sworn officers and 156 professional staff.
