On February 26th at approximately 8:53 p.m., San Bernardino Police Communication Center received a call of a major injury traffic collision, involving two motorcyclists and a vehicle, which occurred on W. Mill Street near Bordwell Avenue. The initial investigation revealed that Edwin Angulo Nunez and Juan Robert Lopez, were riding on separate motorcycles and were possibly involved in a speed contest while traveling in an eastbound direction on W. San Bernardino City Fire personnel responded to the collision scene and treated then transported both riders. Edwin Angulo Nunez was transported to ARMC where he succumbed to his injuries. Juan Robert Lopez was also transported to ARMC where he remains in critical condition. The investigation is ongoing.
