Calls for Nominations of Top Entrepreneurs Go Out

Inland Southern California’s Spirit of the Entrepreneur Awards is currently seeking nominations for its 2015 celebration to honor the region’s top entrepreneurs for their creativity, passion, risk taking and business accomplishments. The event is presented by the Inland Empire Center for Entrepreneurship (IECE) at California State University, San Bernardino. Dubbed by attendees and past award recipients as the “Oscars of business,” the 13th annual event will take place on Nov. 10 at the Riverside Convention Center. Last year, the black-tie gala event attracted 760 attendees, including entrepreneurs, business executives and community leaders from every part of the inland Southern California region. To be eligible to receive an award, the nominee must have a business principally located in the inland Southern California region with at least two years of operating experience, be an owner and/or active key manager of the firm and be primarily responsible for the overall performance of the company. Self-nominations are encouraged. All nominees will be contacted by the university's Inland Empire Center for Entrepreneurship and provided assistance in completing the required nomination information before being evaluated by an elite judging panel consisting of past Spirit of the Entrepreneur Award recipients. Nominations are being accepted until July 31, and can be made directly through the awards program website at www.inlandspiritawards.com.
