The San Bernardino Vet Center, VA Loma Linda Healthcare System and San Bernardino County Veteran Affairs will host a “Welcome Home” event geared toward honoring Vietnam veterans for their service and sacrifice. The event will be taking place on Tuesday, March 29, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Front Sight, 1009 Brooks Street (Unit C) in Ontario. These collaborative efforts will highlight the partnership of Federal, State, and community organizations whose missions involve serving veterans. Representatives from a variety of VA and other programs will be on-hand to answer questions about Veteran benefits, including claims processing, women’s health, readjustment counseling, suicide prevention, and many others. Educational opportunities throughout the day are designed to connect and empower veterans, their spouses, and families. In addition, there will be free food and music for entertainment purposes.
