San Bernardino, CA ------ Arrowhead United Way’s Rewarding Pathways Internship Program was proud to host its Awards Ceremony recently. This special event honored the high school junior and senior participants for their entrepreneur group projects, participation, communication skills and completion of the program. We were honored to present eight high school seniors with scholarship awards that ranged from $500 to $1500 who provided essays with great quality and content. Twenty-eight students were honored with gift cards to In-n-Out for excellent demonstrations of communication skills, 16 students received gift cards to Target for participation, and $50 gift cards were given to 16 students for perfect attendance. The top three entrepreneur groups that consisted of 6 students each were individually gifted with $100 for first place, $75 for second place and $50 for third. The students invited their friends and families to enjoy an evening of fun and celebration.

The Rewarding Pathways Internship Program helps prepare students for their internships, college opportunities, and future career paths. For information please contact Gretchen Strutzenberg at GretchenS@ahuw.org or call (909) 884-9441.
