On Wednesday, 2/21/18, at approximately 2:06 PM the San Bernardino Police Department received a call of an armed robbery that had just occurred at the Dr. Soundz Stereo Shop.  According to the employees, two suspects arrived at the business in a vehicle and stopped to the front of the business.  One suspect (the driver) remained in the vehicle while the second suspect entered the store and brandished a weapon at the employees.  The employees believed the weapon was a gun so they feared for their safety and allowed the suspect to take merchandise from the business.  The suspect fled the business to the waiting vehicle, which then left the area. The victims were able to provide a vehicle description which was broadcast to officers over the radio.

The vehicle was located by officers within 10 minutes of receiving the call and the suspects were located nearby along with the merchandise taken during the robbery.  The suspects had been involved in another petty theft at the same location the week prior to this incident as well.

The San Bernardino Police Department’s Robbery and District Crimes Units are working the robbery and the previous theft. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to please contact Detective M. Block at (909) 388-4935 or Detective R. Barba at 909-384-5669.
