The Empire Wrestling Federation (EWF), the only professional wrestling federation in the Inland Empire, has been active since 1996 and is proud to return to its roots with a new generation of wrestlers following in the footsteps of EWF superstars-including former WCW and WWE superstar Louis Spicolli and TNA’s superstar fallen angel Christopher Daniels-during the upcoming San Bernardino Boys and Girls Club event slated for Saturday, Oct. 26 at 8 p.m. During the Oct. 26 event, patrons can help raise funds for the Boys and Girls Club with a gate percentage. The show will feature an EWF World Championship “Clash of the Titans” Terex vs. “Ironman” Mike Maze; a tag team mayhem with champions The Von Dooms vs. Mega King Tommy Wilson and Rico Dynamite; and a no-holds-barred match between EWF American champion Prince Raccid Najjar vs. Uptown Andy Brown. The evening will also feature a special match between Hollywood actor Sonny Valens, who started with EWF as a wrestler performing under various wrestler names, like Mini Primal Rage, Dinko the Clown, Sun Warrior and Sonny Suave. In 2007 Valens made his big-screen debut alongside Hilary Swank in the movie “Freedom Writers,” and has also appeared on television programs like “CSI: NY,” “SouthLAnd” and “The Shield.” Valens will be making a comeback on Oct. 26 as he will face Matt Sinister. Other wrestlers on the Oct. 26 roster will be La Flecha Fugaz, heartthrob sensation Richie Slade, The Wizeone and many others. To top off the night, there will also be a Battle Royal. All are invited to come out for the evening and support independent wrestling in entertainment for the whole family. Adult admission is $10. The San Bernardino Boys and Girls Club is located at 1180 W. 9th Street, San Bernardino.
