40K4, with Sheriffs Corporals Anderson and Ells and County Firefighters Captain Spies and Paramedic Deshon, arrived on scene. Using the rescue hoist, rescuers inserted a rescue medic 100 feet down to Angel’s location.
The medic made contact with Angel and determined she was unable to hike out of the area due to her medical condition. Angel was placed in a rescue harness, hoisted to the helicopter and transported to Mountains Community Hospital for further medical treatment.
