Air Force Airman Zachary A. Cliburn, a San Bernardino native, graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, in San Antonio, Texas. Cliburn is the son of Deana and Warren Cliburn for Rosamond, Calif. and Marie Hooker of Wahiawa, Hawaii. He graduated from San Bernardino High School in 2011. The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree though the Community College of the Air Force.
