On Saturday, September 19, 2020, at approximately 12:17 am, Deputy S. Rule conducted a traffic stop on a black Honda Accord for a vehicle code violation in the area of Lynwood Drive and Sanchez Street in San Bernardino. Rule contacted the driver of the vehicle who identified himself through his California Identification Card as Dagoberto Rivera. A record check confirmed Rivera was on active probation for possession of a controlled substance for sales and his California Drivers License was suspended. Rivera stated there was methamphetamine inside the vehicle. During a search of the vehicle Rule located approximately one pound of methamphetamine underneath the driver seat. Rule also located approximately 9.2 grams of heroin inside the center console, over 20 clear plastic baggies and a weighing scale.

Rivera was arrested for the above charges and booked into Central Detention Center, where he is being held on $150,000 bail.
