During the past 30 days, S.B.P.D. narcotics unit has been investigating a DTO (Drug Trafficking Organization) trafficking cocaine, methamphetamine from the U.S/Mexico border into San Bernardino and Los Angeles Counties. During the investigation, officers have seized multiple pounds of methamphetamine, cocaine and weapons from the DTO. On Tuesday Oct. 13, SBPD Narcotics officers began following a small sedan. They followed that sedan until it stopped at a residence in the city of Sun Valley. At that point, officers made contact with the driver and a search of the vehicle was conducted, officers located a large quantity of cocaine. After locating the cocaine in the vehicle, officers executed a search warrant on the residence where they located approximately $172,720 in U.S currency. Approximately 25 packages of cocaine totaling approximately 60 pounds, was recovered from the vehicle. The total wholesale value for the cocaine is approximately $675,000.00. Jesus Camillo Quiroz was arrested for H&S 11351/11352, and lodged in the Los Angeles County Jail. The investigation is ongoing.
