San Bernardino County Fire was recently dispatched to a structure fire in Muscoy. The responding units reported that smoke was visible coming from the attic of a single story, single family house. No one was home and the house appeared to be occupied.
The fire was brought under control in approximately 20 minutes and fire spread was confined to the original building.
Three fire engines, one ladder truck, one paramedic squad and two Battalion Chiefs responded to the fire including assistance from the San Bernardino City Fire Department. The fire caused an estimated $10,000 in property damage. The fire appeared to have been caused by faulty wiring. The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department was performing its own investigation.
