Three churches in one building are coming together to help feed the community.
It all began with an idea, inspired by Spirit. Pastor A.L Wilbon had a friend who could get extra food to supply those in need. He mentioned it to the new Ministers at the “Center for Spiritual Living” on Golden Avenue in San Bernardino. Since they know Pastor Wilbon, his wife Mamie, their fellow Pastor Harvey, who lead the “Showers of Blessings” church. They have recently begun having services at the Center, following the New Thought service graced by Rev. LaVonne and Dr. Don. The third group, who hold Evangelical meetings at the Center is led by Pastor Miguel Godinez. When he heard about the plan to give out food, his group joined enthusiastically to be of assistance.
The first give-away will be Thursday the 31st of May from 10:00 am to noon, or whenever the food supply is diminished. It will be an ongoing project on the last Thursday for three months through July.
The Center is located at 2404 N. Golden Avenue just north of Highland. All are welcome to be fed, both physically and spiritually. Spirit provides as we give thanks. And so it is.
