Homicide Investigation in SB

San Bernardino Police are conducting a homicide investigation following a shooting that occurred on Tuesday, 09/17/19. Officers responded to the 1500 Block of East Highland Ave at around 9:30 p.m. after a caller reported a shooting. When officers arrived they found a male shooting victim. He was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. A second shooting victim was transported by a private vehicle to a local hospital and listed in critical condition, his identity is being withheld. Both victims appear to be connected to the same incident.

Victim:

Damien Lopez, 18 years old

Resident of San Bernardino
