In a world where every act of kindness reverberates, rescuing a shelter pet stands out as a profound testament to compassion and humanity. Rescuing a dog or cat is not merely an act of charity; it is an investment in the betterment of society. These animals have an innate ability to bring joy, companionship, and unconditional love into the lives of their adoptive families. They teach valuable lessons about resilience, forgiveness, and the transformative power of love.

San Bernardino County Animal Care is now reducing pet adoption fees. Find your fur-ever best friend by adopting one of our friendly fur babies.  For more information about animals available for adoption, visit animalcare.sbcounty.gov/pets/.

An October City announcement draws attention to an everyday household practice with benefits for food budgets, kitchen safety and the environment. A basket of fresh produce can represent a week's worth of meals, the results of a successful backyard harvest or an unexpected bargain at the grocery store. An October announcement highlights how investigative technology and cooperation among law enforcement agencies can help solve crimes affecting Grand Terrace neighborhoods. For residents of Grand Terrace, home is more than an address. It is where families gather, children grow up and neighbors build relationships over many years. When a residential burglary occurs, the effects can extend beyond the property taken or damage caused.
