Public service hours at the Villaseñor Branch Library of the San Bernardino Public Library will shift to “summer hours” beginning Monday, March 12th with the return of Daylight Savings Time.

“The Library Board of Trustees wants the public to be able to make maximum usage of available library service hours,” Library Director Ed Erjavek said in a news release.

Villaseñor, which is at 525 N. Mount Vernon Avenue, will be open from 3 to 8 p.m. on Mondays and Tuesdays. It had previously been open from 1 to 6 p.m., and will return to those “winter hours” the first Sunday of November.

Hours on Wednesday and Thursday are listed online as 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Library hours remain the same for the city’s other libraries.

Feldheym Central Library is open Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday from 1 to 6 p.m.

Rowe Branch Library is open Monday and Tuesday from 3 to 8 p.m., and Wednesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Library service is available at the Inghram Branch Tuesday through Friday, 2 to 6 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The San Bernardino Public Library also offers various online library services for library cardholders, including Overdrive eBooks and eAudiobooks, popular full-text magazine articles in electronic format, a business directory, homework assistance available via chat from 1 to 10 p.m. daily, as well as other resources that can also be accessed by going to the library website at www.sbpl.org .

Library locations, along with a wide range of other information, is also available at the library website.
