The Mission Inn Festival of Lights Shines Brighter Than Ever!

The holiday season has officially kicked off in the Inland Empire, heralded by the spectacular illumination of The Mission Inn Hotel & Spa for its annual Festival of Lights! This beloved, long-standing tradition has once again captivated the hearts of residents and visitors alike, solidifying its place as a must-see event of the Christmas season.

While the millions of twinkling lights on the historic Mission Inn itself remain the breathtaking centerpiece, the surrounding scene in downtown Riverside has transformed into a complete holiday destination. It’s no surprise that reports indicate the Mission Inn is continuously sold out or at peak occupancy for weekend stays, as travelers flock to experience this magic firsthand.

???? New Delights Await the Returning Visitor

Those who look forward to this traditional event year after year are always taken back by all the exciting new additions to the venue. The festival has grown far beyond a mere light display, creating a comprehensive holiday village atmosphere. Visitors will find:

 * Diverse Vendors and Food Trucks: The Main Street pedestrian mall is bustling with artisan vendors offering festive items and an array of food trucks serving up everything from gourmet treats to traditional holiday favorites.

 * Live Performances: The air is filled with holiday cheer thanks to various performances, including live music and carolers, creating a truly immersive festive environment.

 * Tours and Attractions: Beyond the Inn's illuminated facade, the downtown area offers festive tours, as well as attractions like the popular gingerbread shop and tons of photo prop areas &  opportunities for photos with Santa Claus.

The entire setting is a beautiful backdrop for a day or night trip to downtown Riverside during the holiday season.

As you venture and explore the many things Riverside has to offer during the Christmas season, be sure to indulge in some classic holiday treats!

Make your way to the delightful Candy Lane Store for holiday-themed décor and sweet treats from around the world. For a truly festive experience, look out for the Gingerbread Shop and consider the special gingerbread items they have on their amazing menu .

If you haven’t been yet, now is the time! Make your way to downtown Riverside for The Mission Inn's ongoing Festival of Lights and create your own unforgettable holiday memories.

The Festival of Lights runs nightly through early January. Be prepared for crowds, especially on weekends, and check local listings for the best times to visit and for information on parking.
