The Board of Trustees of the Mission Inn Foundation proudly announces its spring benefit event Up, Up, and Away! which will celebrate the centennial of March Field (now March Air Reserve Base). On February, 23, 2018 the nonprofit Mission Inn Foundation is hosting their annual benefit event to raise funds for its education programs, public education initiatives, and historic collections.

Mission Inn Foundation President Sally Beaty says, “This year we are excited to move the event to the historic March Field Air Museum. The Mission Inn is a natural choice to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the air field, based on the long-standing relationship between the two entities. The Miller family, the Mission Inn, and March Field enjoyed a close relationship over the decades by hosting officers at the hotel, establishing the famous Fliers Wall in 1934, and showcasing celebrity pilots and aviators as honored hotel guests.” Guests at Up, Up, and Away! can expect live music, private evening access to March Field Air Museum, dancing in the historic Hangar 2, exclusive meet n’ greet opportunities with aviation VIP’s, a bar stocked by Lorenzi Winery and Wicks Brewing Company, live and silent auctions with must-have items, and heavy hors d’oeuvres.

“Up, Up, and Away! is an opportunity to enjoy a festive evening at a historic location, while supporting the Mission Inn Foundation’s educational mission. With this incredible support, the Mission Inn Foundation and Museum provides children, students, families, and adults free opportunities to learn and engage with Riverside's unique history and contemporary community through
