The Nurses Pub, a non-profit organization working with the California Department of Public Health (CDPH), is providing FREE COVID testing for San Bernardino residents who otherwise would not have access to testing and informational resources. Currently, testing is available Tuesday until Friday from 7:30 a.m. until 2:45 p.m. and Saturday, 7:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at 468 West 5th Street, San Bernardino, California, 90241.

With the support of Bombas.com, Wesley Health Centers (also known as the JWCH Institute), and Operation Be Kind, The Nurses Pub will launch a community giveaway to support San Bernardino, Inland Empire Veterans, and families needing high-quality socks. With a chance to win $50 Visa Gift Cards, guests have access to 500 pairs of socks and a complimentary Nurses Pub goodie gift bag with COVID testing on November 11-12, 2022, at the testing site.

According to Mona Clayton, CEO of The Nurses Pub, “Our organization is elated to be able to support veterans and individuals experiencing homelessness by offering free services for the community. Although transmission of the virus is declining, we are seeing individuals that are testing positive for the virus. Our services are free of charge, and our staff is top of the line in service and testing.” Clayton continues, “The purpose of the campaign is to increase awareness of the services that we offer and to be a resource to promote a healthy community.”

Clayton states, “The Rock the Sox Campaign will continue until November 18, 2022. Socks are greatly needed, especially during the winter months, and our goal is to be a service for veterans and others in the underserved communities of San Bernardino and the Inland Empire.”

Raffle winners will be announced on November 18, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. at the testing site.
