Synopsis of Incident:

On Thursday, November 16th  at about 5:49 p.m. a 24-year-old white male adult was riding his bicycle northbound on E Street approaching the Kendall curves. The cyclist was struck from the rear by a vehicle also traveling northbound on E Street within the #2 lane. The cyclist was thrown from his bicycle as a result of the collision. The cyclist was later pronounced deceased at the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. The driver of the striking vehicle stopped at the scene. The cause is under investigation. No alcohol or drugs were a factor in this collision.
